H.E. Rakesh Sood, Indian Ambassador to Nepal

The event was nice and very impressive. I think it’s a great institution to encourage new entrepreneurs. Manvinder Singh Banga’s speech was wonderful and I feel glad to have attended this programme.

Anil Shah, CEO, Mega Bank

The seventh the boss Top 10 Awards was very nice and very impressive as always. At a time when every sector is failing, when entrepreneurs have all the reasons to feel hopeless amidst all the instability, such awards somehow encourage them - make them feel that success is still happening in this country!

Sanjeev Keshava, MD, Surya Nepal

The event was excellent! We have been supporting this event since its very first year and we know that it has not gone in vain. It has given a ray of hope to the entrepreneurs of today as well as tomorrow. Honouring the talent of management students is praiseworthy.

Hisila Yami, Former Minister/UCPN-Maoist

The concept of this programme is very suitable with the concept of new Nepal that is on the verge of construction. At a time when India and China have been progressing so much, this award ceremony shows that progress is rampant in Nepal as well. At the time of political instability, this sort of programme gives hope to entrepreneurs.

Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Former Minister/UCPN-Maoist

It’s the first time that I am attending such an event in Nepal. I found it very well put together and inspiring, especially the keynote speaker Manvinder Singh Banga’s address was very good.

Robin Sharma, Deputy Executive Director, Radio Nepal

I am speechless. Any attempt to describe the event may dilute the grandeur with which it was organised. The award will act as a stimulus for all the business entrepreneurs; it is a call for them to accept that the sky is their only limit.

Binod Tuladhar, BlueBird Department Store

Over the years, I have always had the privilege of attending this award ceremony. As always, the event was very well executed. I have to say there is no other award in the country at this par; it’s in a league of its own. Despite the volatile political situation, the economic and the business sector has done very well. And awards such as these will encourage entrepreneurs and businesses to continue to persevere and strive for excellence.

Siddhanth Raj Pandey, CEO, Ace Development Bank

Due to the criterion and selection methodology for the awards, I felt the programme was very mature. In seven years, the award has certainly come a long way. I liked the categories that have been included and I think they should also add a section for NRN businesses. Awards such as these should be objective, and rather than personality driven it should be merit-based. And I think this time around the award has certainly fulfilled these criteria.

Gautam SJB Rana, Baber Mahal Revisited

The programme was very well rehearsed, short, to the point and interesting. This kind of event gets all the business community together and makes them aware of what is happening where and it also creates the desire to be the next achiever or the next winner. It is a very original and wonderful event. I think the award is the only one of its kind in Nepal. I enjoyed the programme as much as I have been enjoying it for the past four years I have been here and I think it’s just been getting better and better every year.
