The industry’s finest gathered at the sixth Surya 24 Carat the boss Top 10 Business Excellence Awards at a glittering ceremony held in Kathmandu on 17 July, 2009.
The Awards are among the most prestigious and highly coveted in the industry. This year the awards were presented only in the non-financial categories honouring the significance and value that the boss Top 10 Business Excellence Awards has gained over these years in the hearts and minds of the corporate community.
A tribute to the spirit of entrepreneurship, and a celebration of achievement and great performance at the workplace, the awards are independent and all encompassing. They were presented in five categories – Best Social Entrepreneur, FNCCI - NYEF Young Entrepreneur, Person To Watch, Top 3 Management Students and Lifetime Achievement.

A special guest speaker, Khoo Swee Chiow was flown in from Singapore exclusively for the event. Swee Chiow is an adventure consultant and inspirational speaker who has pitted himself against daunting odds, stared adversity in the face and achieved the seemingly impossible. His message - DARE TO DREAM – is a clarion call to us to believe in ourselves, embrace challenges, follow our dreams and be resilient in striving to achieve our goals.
